2EASTMUSIC HOSTS SONGWRITING WORKSHOP AT ANIME BOSTON
BOSTON – Matthew Myers from 2EastMusic, www.2eastmusic.com will be hosting Anime Songwriting Workshop at Anime Boston, from 2pm on Saturday, April 21st 2007. The workshop introduces non-songwriters to the process of writing pop songs through improvisation, interactive analysis, and opportunities to be involved with the studio production.
Special guests at the workshop include award winning composer and sound designer Duncan Watt of Fastestmanintheworld Music, and Louden Noxious, colorful play-by-play commentator from Kaiju Big Battel. Event sponsors include Play N Trade, the fastest growing video game retail franchise in the country, and Manifesto Games, international award winning and revolutionary indie game publisher.
This is Matt's second time hosting Anime Songwriting Workshop, having debuted the project at Bakuretsu Con 2006 and completed a recording with a group of participants from the convention. Matt is also the official musical guest at Connecticon 2007, and will be involved with Bakuretsu Con again this year.
In addition to the workshop, Matt from 2EastMusic will be performing live piano music at the Cherry Blossom Ball – Anime Boston's formal ballroom dance at 8pm on Friday, April 20th.
Anime Boston runs from April 20th – 22nd 2007 at the Hynes Convention Center in Back Bay. The event is the largest anime convention in New England, drawing 10,000 anime fans.
