FOUR NEW GUESTS ADDED TO F.S.C.
DICK GIORDANO, FAT MOMMA, CINDY MORGAN & ROB JONES

Ft. Lauderdale, FL. - FLORIDA SUPERCON is proud to announce the addition of four more guests for the June 22-24, 2007 show, including; Comic Book Legend: Dick Giordano, Media Guest: Fat Momma (Stan Lee's Who Wants to Be a Superhero), Media Guest: Cindy Morgan (Tron, CaddyShack, Amazing Stories) and Comic Book Artist: Rob Jones (Perfect Storm, Liberty Girl, Students of the Unusual).

When one mentions the legends that have shaped the history of the comics industry, rest assured that high on that list will be the name of Dick Giordano. Since 1951, Dick Giordano has worked his pencil and ink magic for a variety of publishers including Charlton Comics, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dell, American Comics, Valiant, Treasure Chest and Junior Life. In addition to his considerable freelance contributions, Giordano acted as Editor-In-Chief for Charlton Comics, during which he oversaw the creation of their most memorable characters including such classics as The Blue Beetle and Captain Atom. As Executive Editorial Director of DC Comics, Dick was the guiding force behind such award-winning series as Alan Moore's WATCHMEN, Frank Miller's DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and many, many more revolutionary concepts. His creative vision at DC Comics resulted in raising the bar for creativity throughout the entire comics industry. In recent years, Dick Giordano, along with creative partners Bob Layton and David Michelinie, formed FUTURE ENTERTAINMENT, a multi-media company.

Before her transformation, Fat Momma (Nell Wilson) was disciplining some bullies at school for teasing a fellow student because he was fat. Fat Momma had the bullies suspended, but they found their way back to her office and obtained her lunch box. Taking it to the Chemistry lab, they removed one of her doughnuts and injected it with every chemical they could find. After eating the doughnut, Fat Momma immediately began to feel different. Once she made it home and rested for a while, she noticed that she was able to sense things that she had never been able to sense before. She knew when people were down about themselves or when someone was being teased for being different. Then, one day she was walking along and a tree fell on Fat Momma, and Fat Momma was so angry and hurt that her body started growing. And growing! Before she knew it, she was five times her normal size! She became feirce and mean, and now takes her anger out on the bullies of the world.
Fat Momma was recently featured on the reality TV series: Stan Lee's Who Wants to be a Superhero!

Best known as "Lacey Underall" in CADDYSHACK, and "Yori" in TRON, Cindy Morgan was born Cynthia Ann Cichorski on September 29 in Chicago, Ill, not far from Wrigley field. The daughter of a Polish factory worker and German mother, Cindy survived 12 years of Catholic school and was the first in her family to attend college. Cindy's first screen role was in CADDYSHACK, playing the role of Lacey Underall, an over-amorous ingenue and soon was a part of film history with Disney's TRON, the first computer-generated film. Cindy played two characters: Lora, a compute programmer in the "real" world, and Yori, her alter-ego in the film's computer generated flights of imagination. Cindy Morgan's television credits to date include "Falconcrest", "The Larry Sanders Show", "Amazing Stories" and "Bring 'Em Back Alive". She's now finishing her first book, a story about how a nice Catholic girl became Lacey Underall in CADDYSHACK.

Rob Jones has been working as a professional artist for the last five years, and is best known for his independent comic book, Perfect Storm. As well, he has done work for Students of the Unusual, Tomb Raider: Tales of Lara Croft, Liberty Girl, Flare, League of Champions and more. Rob is also the assistant to comic book legend Dick Giordano. You can check out Rob's artwork and updates for Perfect Storm on his website harborcomics.com
