RIT Anime Club Announces Tora-Con 2007
RIT ANIME CLUB ANNOUNCES TORA-CON 2007
ROCHESTER, NY - October 13, 2006 - The RIT Anime Club is pleased to announce its third annual sponsorship of Tora-Con. Rochester's premier anime convention will be held once again at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus.
Tora-Con 2007 will be held on April 28, 2007. This one-day convention will be fully-featured, including screenings, panels, an artist alley, a dealers room, an AMV contest, video games, and more.
The final website and preregistration prices will be available soon, so stay tuned.
Over 500 people attended Tora-Con 2006, and Tora-Con 2007 will be bigger and better than ever!
About Tora-Con: Tora-Con is the RIT Anime Club's annual convention, bringing the convention experience to the Rochester community.
About RIT Anime Club: Founded in the early 1990s, the RIT Anime Club is one of the largest anime clubs in the country with over 150 active members. The purpose of the RIT Anime Club is to enrich the academic environment by stimulating the growth and appreciation of Anime as an art form as well as the awareness and understanding of Japanese Culture. The RIT Anime Club is a not-for-profit organization.
