Madman Releases My-Hime

MELBOURNE , Wednesday, 14 June, 2006 – Before coming to Fuka Academy, all Mai Tokiha wanted was to live an ordinary high school life... but that's the last thing she's going to get! It turns out that Mai is a HiME, one of twelve girls with super-natural powers gathered at the school to fight the Orphans, the demons that dwell around the Academy. A secret organisation has other plans for the HiME than just demon-busting. Mai and her super-powered friends will have to risk it all to save their loved ones.
Already a huge hit in Japan, MY-HIME is the latest series from Hiroyuki Yoshino, creator of Gundam Seed Destiny. MY-HIME features animation by studio Sunrise (Gundam Seed, Cowboy Bebop) and music by Yuki Kajiura (.hack//SIGN, Noir).
MY-HIME VOL.1 will also be available to purchase with a Limited Edition Collector's Box, to store all upcoming DVD releases of this series.
This is the first of seven volumes of MY-HIME on DVD.
