Wasabi Animusical Sequel Scheduled for JACON 2006
ORLANDO, FL, MARCH 28, 2006: Wasabi Anime is producing the sequel to it's highly success Wasabi Animusical – an amalgamation of anime, manga, video games, “cosplay,” music videos, dancing, comedy, and show tunes. The sequel, named the Wasabi Animusical II: Electric Boogaloo, follows the format of last year's show but will this time make use of popular songs from motion pictures. (Last year made use of Broadway and stage music.)
The one hour show takes place at the JACON Japanese animation and culture convention Friday, April 28th at 8:00 PM in the main events hall of the Sheraton World Resort. This year's presentation will feature over 100 COSTUMES, 24 performers, and a dozen songs. The show is a unique treat for anime, manga, video game, stage, and movie enthusiasts alike.
Since 2001, Wasabi Anime has been producing events for the ever growing Japanese animation (anime) and pop-culture fandom.
