For Immediate Release – Digital Manga Publishing & Copic Marker product featured in ABC's TV series "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" this Sunday, March 27th.
Digital Manga Publishing and Copic marker tag teams an LA home this Sunday on ABC's “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”.
DMI's Isaac Lew was on hand for the rainy event and even rolled up a sleeve to pitch in as an extreme volunteer. “At first they wouldn't even let me into the house, but they needed some big strong dudes to carry in stuff in!” says the director of sales. “Luckily they settled for me… free shirt and rain gear! Ya!”
Sunday's program will focus around the “extreme” remodeling of the Leomiti-Higgins Family home, and one family member just happens to be an aspiring manga artist.
DMI's and Copic marker are no strangers to the aspiring artist category. Manga Academy was first to discover upcoming Tokyopop published Felipe Smith through their international manga contest, and Copic marker has been in the manga supply business for years now, featuring their Ciao marker through Comictones.com
“After I sorta screwed up on the painting a lamp, the real staff tried kicking me out of every main camera shot, but hopefully you'll see me on TV representing the anime nation, but overall I was glad to donate our books from DMP, yaoi t-shirts and our giant Atashi from Akadot Retail.” Quotes the red haired wild man. “But, if we don't get any product shots this Sunday, I shall consume my anime anger in LJ blogs.”
