Anime Expo is has always attempted to be on the 4th of July weekend, except when the 4th of July is on a Wednesday. The 4th of July is tradition for AX, and it's beneficial for attendees since they will have at least one of the two weekday convention days as a vacation. However the 4th of July isn't always available for AX at the preferred venue. Would you prefer that AX stick to the 4th of July, or that it adapt its schedule as necessary (by a week or so) in order to obtain the best possible event location. |

This would include licensing and release related news, releases (in the release database) and a section for manwha in the Encyclopedia. It would of course spread our resources slightly thinner, and perhaps take a bit of time (but not a significant amount) away from covering anime and manga related items. |

With the exception of the Shelf Life and Right Turn Only columns, it isn't possible for ANN to review every single anime and manga release. Although our readers might appreciate manwha reviews, would you want them if every manwha review meant one less anime or manga review? |
