Netflix India to Remove Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Chainsaw Man, More Anime

Netflix is listing the following anime with a "leaving soon" label in India:

• Death Note
• Hunter x Hunter
• Chainsaw Man
• Reincarnated as a Sword

Muse Asia streamed the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime in India in May 2023 and its Muse India YouTube channel streamed it in June 2023. Amazon Prime Video's dedicated anime channel Anime Times is also streaming the anime in India. Crunchyroll added the anime as a free title in India on June 4.

Chainsaw Man premiered in India on Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel in October 2022. Netflix began streaming the anime in India in February 2023. Crunchyroll also began streaming anime in India with both Japanese audio and with an English dub in the same month and added its Hindi dub in July 2023.

Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel streamed the television anime of the Reincarnated as a Sword (Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita) light novel series in India as it aired in Japan.

Netflix India's YouTube channel streamed a Death Note reaction video featuring comedian Tanmay Bhatt and another promo video featuring YouTuber Dhruv Rathee with a guest appearance by voice actress Sonal Kaushal in 2022.
