New Cowboy Bebop Book Will Be Published on October 1

There will be a new book about Shinichiro Watanabe's Cowboy Bebop from the British publisher Telos Publishing, published on October 1. Entitled Three Two One Let's Jam! (a phrase from the TV anime's title sequence), it will be a 636-page paperback, written by Satoru Stevenson.

The book is described on the cover as "The unofficial and unauthorised guide to the original Cowboy Bebop." The press release describes the book as follows:

"Making unparalleled use of Japanese interviews, production material and the creators' influences, Satoru Stevenson presents a deep dive into Cowboy Bebop. Its genesis, development and initial treatment at the hands of network censors. How the SEATBELTS became the biggest band in the solar system, and what shaped the spacefaring society of 2071... The book examines the individual ‘Sessions’ as well as associated material from video games to manga comics..."

The release adds that the book is drawn from multilingual sources, and covers not only the TV anime series, but also the feature film Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, as well as the TV specials, short films and video games.
