Disney+ in U.K. Adds Macross Frontier and Macross Delta Films

The UK version of the Disney+ platform has now added the following Macross feature films: Macross Frontier: The False Songstress (pictured right), Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell (pictured left), Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walkūre and Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!
The platform has also added the short film, Macross Frontier: Labyrinth of Time.
All of these titles are only available in Japanese with English subtitles.
Disney+ in the UK had already added two Macross TV series: the 2008 series Macross Frontier, running 25 episodes, and the 2016 series Macross Delta, running 26 episodes.
Macross Frontier: The False Songstress, released in 2009, and its sequel Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell, released in 2011, together comprise a two-part cinema retelling of the Macross Frontier TV series. However, Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell changes the TV story in many ways.
Macross Frontier: Labyrinth of Time is a short 14-minute film released in 2021, which accompanied Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!! in Japanese cinemas.
Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walküre (pictured right), released in 2018, retells the Macross Delta TV series, while Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!, released in 2021, is a new story.
Big West, Studio Nue, and Harmony Gold USA announced in April 2021 that the companies agreed to allow the immediate distribution of most Macross television sequels and films globally. The companies agreed to cooperate on the distribution of future Macross and Robotech projects.
