Six-part sequel to the original B: The Beginning will be released on August 12, including soundtrack CD, 124-page booklet, four art cards and an A3 poster

Anime Limited has announced that it will release a Collector's Blu-ray of B: The Beginning Succession on August 12. It will include a 124-page booklet; a CD of the soundtrack; four art cards; and an A3 poster.

As well as the UK edition, there will also be a US edition on the same date, available from the Crunchyroll store.

Anime Limited describes the series:

"In the first season of B: The Beginning, two men confronted their own past with great sacrifice. Maverick detective Keith Flick fought against his demons and finally exposed the dark secrets behind the Kingdom of Cremona. Mutant wunderkind Koku finally reunited with the most precious memory from his stolen childhood. Several months have passed since then, and the entire world seems to have forgotten the turmoil caused by those events. As Keith returns to the Royal Police to conduct his own investigations, Koku and Yuna try to enjoy an ordinary life in peace. But the consequences of the Jaula Blanca experiments are far from being extinct, as Koku soon discovers when his supposedly dead lab mate Kirisame suddenly shows up."

The 6-part second season of the B: The Beginning anime was streamed on Netflix in March 2021. Kazuto Nakazawa (Kill Bill's animated segment, Moondrive, Parasite Dolls) and Production I.G were listed as the original creators. Itsurō Kawasaki (episode director for B: The Beginning) directed the series, and Nakazawa served as supervising director. Nakazawa and Katsunari Ishida were in charge of series composition. Nazakawa, Akane Yano (And you thought there is never a girl online?), and Hideoki Kusama (Grand Blue Dreaming) designed the characters. Voice actors Yūki Kaji, Hiroaki Hirata, Asami Seto, and Satomi Satou reprised their roles from the first season.
