26th Shin-chan Film Airs on Sony Yay on June 22

The film opened in Japan in April 2018. The film had sold 315,000 tickets to earn 367 million yen (about US$3.42 million) and rank #2 in its opening weekend. As of May 2018, the film had earned a cumulative total of of 1,633,170,000 yen (about US$14.71 million).
The kung-fu action film is set in a Chinatown named Aiyātown in Kusakabe, Saitama (the setting of the main series). Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki director Wataru Takahashi returned to direct the film. Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki scriptwriter Kimiko Ueno wrote the script.
Megumi Han guest starred as new character Ran Tama. The Momoiro Clover Z group also guest starred in the film. They played an idol group known as "Kuroguro Clover Z," which translates to "Pitch Black Clover Z" as opposed to "Pink Clover Z." They work for the fictional ramen company Black Panda Ramen. The group performed the image song "Black Panda Ramen Sanka" (Song of Praise), as well as the film's theme song "Xiào Yīxiào!" (Smile!).
