26th Crayon Shin-chan Anime Film Reveals Teaser Video, Visual, Cast

An official website for the Crayon Shin-chan franchise's 26th anime film, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Bakumori! Kung-Fu Boys ~Ramen Tairan~ (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Bakumori! Kung-Fu Boys Ramen Rebellion), opened on Friday and revealed a teaser video, teaser visual, and one new cast member. Megumi Han (BBK/BRNK's Reoko Banryū, My Love Story!!'s Rinko Yamato) will play the heroine Ran Tama.

The website also revealed that the film will open in Japan on April 13. The teaser video will begin screening in theaters in Japan on December 9, the same that advance tickets for the film go on sale. People who purchase advance tickets will be able to receive one of 75,000 squishy Shin-chan keychains while supplies last.
The kung-fu action film will be set in a Chinatown named Aiyātown in Kusakabe, Saitama (the setting of the main series). Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki director Wataru Takahashi is returning to direct the film. Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki scriptwriter Kimiko Ueno is writing the script.
The 25th film, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shūrai! Uchūjin Shiriri, opened in Japan on April 15 at #2 at the Japanese box office. The story centers on the alien Shiriri who hides in Shinnosuke's butt.
