Crayon Shin-chan's 26th Anime Film Revealed for 2018

The staff of the Crayon Shin-chan anime announced the franchise's 26th anime film on Friday. The film, titled Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Bakumori! Kung-Fu Boys ~Ramen Tairan~ (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Bakumori! Kung-Fu Boys Ramen Rebellion), will open in Japan during the Golden Week spring holidays in 2018.
The kung-fu action film will be set in a Chinatown named Aiyātown in Kusakabe, Saitama (the setting of the main series). Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki director Wataru Takahashi is returning to direct the film. Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki scriptwriter Kimiko Ueno is writing the script.
TV Asahi began streaming a teaser for the film, but it is region-locked to Japan. The video features the phrases "legend of the hidden fist," "anguished beautiful woman," and "gentle Kung-Fu."
The 25th film, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shūrai! Uchūjin Shiriri, opened in Japan on April 15 at #2 at the Japanese box office. The story centers on the alien Shiriri who hides in Shinnosuke's butt.
