Crunchyroll Adds Gods' Games We Play, Re:Monster with Indian Language Dubs

Streaming service is simultaneously streaming the English, Tamil, Telugu dubs of both anime; Hindi dub of Gods' Games We Play

Crunchyroll began streaming the television anime of Kei Sazane's Gods' Games We Play (Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru) light novel series and the television anime of Kogitsune Kanekiru's Re:Monster light novel series on Monday. The streaming service is simultaneously streaming the English, Tamil, and Telugu dubs of both anime.

The Hindi dub for Gods' Games We Play is streaming simultaneously as well. The anime premiered in Japan on Monday. Crunchyroll will exclusively stream the series.

Tatsuya Shiraishi (episode unit director for Overlord II, Overlord III) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS (Call of the Night, Hanebado!). NTL is in charge of the series scripts. Yoshihiro Watanabe from Frontier One is the character designer, and Gin from Busted Rose is composing the music at Pony Canyon. AliA is performing the anime's opening theme song "NewGame," and Hina Tachibana, the voice of Pearl Diamond in the series, is performing the ending theme song "I'm GAME!"

Kadokawa published the first novel volume from author Sazane (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) in January 2021 with illustrations by Toiro Tomose. The novels' seventh volume shipped in July 2023. Yen Press is releasing the novels in English.

A manga adaptation by Kapiko Toriumi launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in August 2021. Kadokawa will publish the manga's third compiled book volume on April 23.

Re:Monster premiered in Japan on Thursday. U-NEXT and Anime Hōdai streamed the anime in Japan ahead of the television broadcast on Monday.

Takayuki Inagaki (Birdie Wing -Golf Girls' Story-, Chio's School Road) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN. GENCO is producing the anime. Hiroshi Yamaguchi (To Heart, Comic Party, ToHeart2) is in charge of series composition. Junichi Takaoka (Gravion) is designing the characters. Go Sakabe is composing the music. Norito Kondo is the director of photography.

Yuka Kadowaki is the color designer, while Kazuhiro Arai is the art director. Shuhei Abe is the sound director, while Naoto Yamaya (Sound Box) is credited for sound effects. Nobuhito Kojima (Cygames) is the sound mixer. Studio TRON is the recording studio. SABERLINKS is credited for sound production. Yuki Koike is the editor.

Chansung, a member of South Korean boy band 2PM, and Japanese hip-hop artist AK-69 are collaborating to produce the opening theme song "Into the Fire," with vocals by 2AM boy band member Lee Changmin. Rock vocal duo EverdreaM are performing the anime's ending theme song titled "Sadame" (written as "Unmei" or Fate).

Kanekiru initially posted the story on the Shōsetsu ni Narō website. AlphaPolis published the first volume in 2012, and the ninth volume in 2017. Yamaada illustrates the novels. AlphaPolis serializes Haruyoshi Kobayakawa's ongoing manga adaptation monthly on its website, and released the 11th compiled book volume in March 19. Seven Seas publishes the manga adaptation, and will publish the ninth volume in English on June 11.
