Anime Festival Asia Returns to Indonesia in May 2024

The official Twitter account for the Anime Festival Asia convention announced on November 25 that the convention will return to Indonesia with a new event at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta on May 3 to 5.

The previous AFA in Indonesia took place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition in Tangerang in September 2018.
The Anime Festival Asia conventions take place in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan. The event is one of the largest anime and Japanese pop-culture conventions outside Japan. 2015's Anime Festival Asia in Singapore drew 90,669 visitors. Aside from Anime Festival Asia and its attached I Love Anisong label, Sozo also owns JLive Asia, and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand.
AFA recently held its most recent convention in Singapore on November 24 to 26.
