Free Ghibliotheque Live Talk in London on October 9

There will be a live talk by the hosts of the Ghibliotheque podcast on Sunday October 9 in London, on films made by non-Ghibli anime studios. The podcast's co-hosts are Michael Leader and Jake Cunningham, and the talk will be at London's BFI Southbank near Waterloo station.
While the event is free, tickets need to be bought for it here, The 45-minute talk is called "The Ghibliotheque Anime Movie Guide" at 2.30 p.m., and is described as follows:
"Michael Leader and Jake Cunningham, co-hosts of the podcast Ghibliotheque, follow their bestselling book Ghibliotheque - The Unofficial Guide to the Movies of Studio Ghibli with a deep-dive into the world of Japanese animation. The Ghibliotheque Anime Movie Guide gives an accessible entry point to this creative and influential industry, charting a path that takes in everything from anime titans like Akira, Ghost in the Shell and your name., to deeper cuts, hidden gems, and future classics that any newcomer to the artform must see."
The talk is linked to Leader and Cunningham's new anime-related book, which covers thirty non-Ghibli anime including Akira, Ghost in the Shell and your name.
Leader and Cunnigham are also presenting a talk on Studio Ghibli at noon on the same day, but it has already sold out.
The episodes of the Ghibliotheque podcast are available here. As well as covering films by and related to Ghibli, the podcast has also covered the anime of Satoshi Kon, the films of the Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon, and the stop-motion animation of Henry Selick.
