Elex Media Releases Blue Lock, A Couple of Cuckoos, Star & Dust Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo released the first volumes of the Blue Lock, A Couple of Cuckoos, and Star & Dust manga on January 5.

Kodansha Comics is publishing Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura's Blue Lock soccer manga in English digitally, and it describes the story:

After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan's team struggles to regroup. But what's missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match...and to do so, they've gathered 300 of Japan's best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team...and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?

Kaneshiro and Nomura launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2018. Kodansha published the manga's 17th compiled book volume in December 2021. The volumes have over 4.5 million copies printed. The manga won the Best Shōnen Manga award in Kodansha's 45th annual Manga Awards last year.

The manga is inspiring a television anime that will premiere this year.

Kodansha Comics publishes Miki Yoshikawa's A Couple of Cuckoos manga in English, and it describes the manga:

16-year-old super-studier Nagi Umino, second-year student at the Megurogawa Academy high school, was switched at birth. On his way to a dinner to meet his birth parents, he accidentally meets the brash, outspoken, Erika Amano, who is determined to make Nagi her fake boyfriend as she never wants to actually marry. But once Nagi makes it to dinner, he finds his parents have decided to resolve the hospital switch by conveniently having him marry the daughter his birth parents raised...who turns out to be none other than Erika herself!

Yoshikawa (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches) launched the A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkō no Iinazuke) manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2020. Kodansha will publish the manga's 10th compiled book volume on January 17.

The manga is inspiring a television anime that will premiere this year.

Kaori Hoshiya's Star & Dust (Hoshi to Kuzu - Don't Worry, Be Happy) manga centers on Anzu Mamenoki, a high school girl born to a poor family who only aims to have her desired 10 million yen annual income, and who has no time to spare for any nonsense besides going straight toward that goal. To this end, she runs for student council president in high school so that she can have a better academic record, but ends up being elected as vice-president. Unfortunately for her, the actual president is a mischievous boy who has an extremely condescending attitude.

Hoshiya launched the manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret Sister magazine in September 2015, and it moved to Bessatsu Margaret in February 2016. The manga ended in February 2017. Shueisha published four volumes for the manga.
