Zombie Land Saga Anime Gets Stage Play in Spring 2020

The official website for the Zombie Land Saga anime series announced on Saturday that the anime is inspiring a stage play adaptation that will run in spring 2020. The stage play is titled Zombie Land Saga Stage de Do-n!. The official website for the stage play will announce the dates, venues, and performers on November 27.
The official website for the anime also announced that a live event for the franchise will be held at the Makuhari Messe event hall on March 8. The event is titled "Zombie Land Saga Live: Franshushu Live of the Dead." The franchise is also a getting a "Best of" album on November 27 featuring the show's theme songs and insert songs. The website revealed an all-new animated music video to advertise the album.
MAPPA, Avex Pictures, and Cygames' Zombie Land Saga anime premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the 12-episode series as it aired, and Funimation streamed an English dub.
The anime follows Sakura Minamoto, who dreams of being an idol, but is hit by a car and wakes up as a zombie. A man named Kōtarō Tatsumi appears and tells her he's recruiting her into an idol group made up of zombies, dead girls he has "recruited" from several eras of Japanese history.
The anime is getting a sequel project titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge.
