Anime NYC to Host TAa, Creator of Fate Spinoff Manga Today's Menu for Emiya Family
posted on by Alex Mateo
The staff of the Anime NYC convention announced on Monday that the event is hosting TAa, the author and illustrator of the Today's Menu for Emiya Family spinoff manga of Type-Moon's Fate/stay night franchise. TAa will appear on panels and signings at Anime NYC in partnership with publisher Denpa.
Denpa licensed TAa's Today's Menu for Emiya Family manga in 2018. The manga runs on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up website, and the fourth compiled volume shipped on July 25. The story revolves around the delicious, beautiful cuisine that the Emiya family enjoy from day to day, no matter what the season is. Makoto Tadano is the "food supervisor" for the manga.
An anime adaptation premiered in December 2017, and Aniplex of America began streaming the series on Crunchyroll in January 2018 to coincide with the Japanese streaming premiere.
In addition, Anime NYC will host Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino, Dr. Stone manga creators Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi, Monogatari series illustrator VOFAN, voice actress and singer Miku Itо̄, and JAM Project, Guilty Kiss, TRUE, and ZAQ as musical performers.
This year's Anime NYC will be held at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan from November 15 to 17. Last year's event had 36,000 attendees from all 50 states and more than 15 countries.
