HAL Laboratory Develops PC-8001 Mini Device

HAL Laboratory announced on Monday that it is developing the "PasocomMini PC-8001," a console that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the PC-8001 personal computer. The system, which comes as a miniaturized version of the original computer, will contain 16 games from the PC-8001 in an SD card, with more available to download at a later date. The device is limited to 500 units, and will only be available as a bundle for those who purchase the "PC-PM750NAA 40th Anniversary Edition Premium Package" laptop, or via lottery for those who have purchased LAVIE series PCs by NEC.
The device will have an HDMI output, with two USB ports for mouse and keyboard.

- Sub-Marine
- Space Ship
