1st Yo-kai Watch Game Gets Switch Port on October 10

Level 5 opened a website on Monday to announce that it will release Yo-kai Watch 1 for Switch, a Nintendo Switch port of the original Yo-kai Watch Nintendo 3DS game, in Japan on October 10. The new game will be a remaster with HD graphics.
Level 5 announced the Yo-kai Watch franchise in 2011 with a game, manga, and anime already planned. The first game launched in July 2013 and the first anime launched in January 2014. The first game later launched in North America in November 2015 and in Europe in April 2016.
The Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls games launched in Japan in July 2014, in North America in September 2016, and in Europe in April 2017. The Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters game then shipped in Japan in December 2014 and in North America and Europe in September 2017.
Yo-kai Watch 3 launched in Japan in two versions — Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi and Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura — in July 2016. Level 5 later released a Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki version in December 2016. The game released in Europe on December 7 and in the United States on February 8.
Level 5 released the Yo-kai Watch 4: Bokura wa Onaji Sora o Miageteiru Nintendo Switch game in Japan on June 20.
