Psycho-Pass SS Films' 2nd, 3rd Film Opens in Hong Kong in August, September

Hong Kong film distributor Neofilms posted a Chinese-subtitled trailer for the three-part Psycho-Pass SS or Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System anime film trilogy last Friday. The video reveals the opening dates for the second and third film in Hong Kong on August 29 and September 12, respectively. Neofilms previously revealed the first film's August 1 opening date in Hong Kong.
The first film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.1 Tsumi to Batsu (Crime and Punishment), opened in Japan on January 25, and ranked at #7 in its opening weekend.
The second film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.2 First Guardian, opened in Japan on February 15. The third film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.3 Onshū no Kanata ni ____ (In the Realm Beyond Is ____), opened in Japan on March 8.
Production I.G animated all three films and TOHO distributed.
Masayuki Nakano (from Boom Boom Satellites) remixed the overall trilogy's theme song as well as each film's ending theme. The overall trilogy's theme is "Abnormalize," Case.1's ending theme is "Fallen," Case.2's ending theme is "All Alone With You," and Case.3's ending theme is "Namae no nai Kaibutsu" (Nameless Monster).
The original Psycho-Pass anime premiered in 2012 and ran for 22 episodes. The 11-episode Psycho-Pass 2 television anime series then premiered in October 2014, and the Psycho-Pass movie opened in Japan in January 2015.
The franchise will get a third television anime season in October.
