Square Enix Releases Final Fantasy IX on Switch, Xbox One

Final Fantasy VII also coming to Switch, Xbox One on March 26

Square Enix announced on Wednesday that it has released the Final Fantasy IX game on the Switch and Xbox One. In addition, it will release the Final Fantasy VII game on the Switch and Xbox One on March 26.

Square Enix most recently re-released Final Fantasy IX on the PlayStation 4 in September 2017. It previously re-released the game on iOS and Android devices in February 2016, and on PC via Steam in April 2016.

Square Enix most recently re-released Final Fantasy VII via Sony's PlayStation Classic console last December. It previously re-released the game on PC in 2012, on iOS and the PlayStation 4 in 2015, and on Android in 2016.
