Kiratto Pri☆Chan Anime Season 2 Visual Shows 3 New Idols
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website for the Kiratto Pri☆Chan television anime series revealed a new visual for the anime's second season on Tuesday. The visual features three new idols (top row, left to right in image below): Suzu, Daia, and Maria. Daia is a new "Virtual Idol" made through CGI graphics, and the chairperson of the Jewel Audition, whose true form is unknown. Suzu and Maria are idols affiliated with the well-known shop "Dear Crown." Maria wants to bring world peace through cuteness, while Suzu is a quiet, boyish type who is passionate for dancing.
The new season will premiere in April.
Kiratto Pri☆Chan premiered in Japan last April as the latest anime series in the Pretty Series franchise, and is ongoing.
The anime has video uploading and streaming sites as a central focus, and once again has themes of singing, dancing, fashion, and friendship. The series centers on two first-year middle school girls named Mirai Momoyama and Emo Moegi, two aspiring idols who decide to use the "Pri☆Chan System," a system used by famous people and companies to broadcast content. Like many girls starting their own channels and uploading content, the pair decide to become their own producers, starting their own channel in an attempt to become Pri☆Chan idols.
