The Japanese version of the app currently has 271 programs, with approximately 240 anime programs. The global version of the app will launch with the 240 anime programs (40 anime made for smartphones, and 200 indie anime works) available, but only the 10 works listed above will have English subtitles. Production I.G plans to add more works and English-subtitled works to the app in the future.
Production I.G launched the Tate Anime app in June 2017 and it ended service on May 31. The app offered short (about three-minute) anime that update on weekdays, and each series had 10 episodes. The anime was presented vertically for smartphones. Production I.G rebranded the app as Anime Beans in June, and it no longer features exclusively vertical anime.
