Misato Konari's Coffee Ikaga Deshō Manga Gets Anime on Anime Beans App

Production I.G's Anime Beans app revealed on Friday that Misato Konari's Coffee Ikaga Deshō (Would You Like Some Coffee?) manga is getting an anime adaptation on the app. Anime Beans is streaming a video for the show's theme song "Yūutsu wa Coffee Cup no Naka" (Depression is Inside a Coffee Cup) by Yōko Arai.
The manga follows a coffee food truck shop, where the barista makes an individual cup for each customer. The coffee brewed conscientiously, sincerely, and wholeheartedly helps customers unwind. Sōma Saitō stars in the series as Hajime Aoyama. Other cast members include Chinatsu Akasaki, Emiri Katō, Shin'ichirō Kamio, Sōshirō Hori, Shinei Ueki, Aimi Tanaka, and Harumi Murakami.
Eimi Kawakami is serving as director, animation director, and producer of the anime at Asura Film. Makoto Hanamoto is credited with production advancement, Masato Ōta and Minami Shimabukuro are animators, Kenichi Ōtaki is credited with animation and director of photography, and Aya Kawamura is credited with animation and photography. Tōshi Satō is the sound director at HALF H·P STUDIO.
Hiroyuki Fundō from Mag Garden is credited with cooperation, and 81 Produce is credited with casting. Makoto Ibuki is the producer.
The anime has 30 episodes, and the first seven episodes are available for free on the app.
The original manga by Konari has three compiled volumes.
Production I.G launched the Tate Anime app in June 2017 and it ended service on May 31. The app offered short (about three-minute) anime that update on weekdays, and each series had 10 episodes. The anime are presented vertically for smartphones.
Production I.G rebranded the app as Anime Beans in June.
