Professional race caller Raita Nakano provides commentary in new video for December 19 anime

The official website for the anime portion of Cygames' Uma Musume Pretty Derby project began streaming a new promotional video on Sunday for "BNW no Chikai" (BNW's Oath), the new anime that will be bundled with the Uma Musume Pretty Derby television anime's fourth Blu-ray Disc volume. The video shows footage of the race in the new anime, and includes commentary by professional race caller Raita Nakano.

The site also revealed a new visual for the anime, featuring the 10 main characters from the original anime, while also adding Biwa Hayahide, Narita Taishin, and Winning Ticket, who will be the focus of "BNW no Chikai." The new anime will have the same length as three episodes.

The new anime will have the same length as three episodes, and will center on Narita Taishin (voiced by Keiko Watanabe), Winning Ticket (Yui Watanabe), and Biwa Hayahide (Yui Kondō).

The release will also include an original prose story titled "Uma Hanashi" (Horse Talk) with a plot that was not portrayed in the television anime. The fourth Blu-ray Disc volume was originally scheduled to ship on November 14 but the volume is now slated for December 19.

The 13-episode television anime premiered on April 1. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

Kei Oikawa (This Art Club Has a Problem!, Outbreak Company, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!) directed the anime at P.A. Works. Yousuke Kabashima (D.Gray-man Hallow, Lord Marksman and Vanadis) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Masafumi Sugiura (aka Pierre Sugiura, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru scripts) and Cygames' Akihiro Ishihara both wrote and oversaw the series scripts. UTAMARO movement composed the music at Lantis.

Cygames' Uma Musume Pretty Derby game is currently in development, with a planned release on iOS and Android this winter.
