Nintendo revealed during its Nintendo Direct presentation in Thursday that it is developing a Nintendo Switch version of the 2012 Wii U game New Super Mario Bros. U titled New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. The game is slated for January 11, and will come with a similar deluxe edition of the 2013 DLC game New Super Luigi U.
The new version adds the playable characters Nabbit and Toadette. Nabbit does not take any damage from enemies, and Toadette can transform into Peachette after acquiring a super crown. Peachette can glide after falling, can double jump, and can boost into the air after falling into a pit.
Nintendo also announced that its Nintendo 3DS remake of the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story game is slated for January 11.
