Manga creator Tadataka Kawasaki confirmed on Saturday that Kawasaki's Chio's School Road (Chio-chan no Tsūgakuro) manga will end in the October issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine on September 5. Yen Press licensed the manga for English publication, and it describes the comedy story:
For Chio Miyamo, just making it to school is a miracle! Whether it's construction sites, biker gangs, or the sudden call of nature, obstacles great and small stand in the path of our titular hero!
Kawasaki launched the manga in Monthly Comic Flapper in 2014, and Kadokawa published the manga's eighth compiled volume on March 23. The manga won the "Flapper Award" at the ninth "MF Comics Awards."
The anime premiered in July, and Crunchyroll and Funimation are streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
