Toei announced in March that its Kamen Rider Amazons series will get two compilation films that will compile the events of the show's first and second season respectively. The first film, Kamen Rider Amazons Season 1: Kakusei (Awakening), opens in Japan on May 5. The second film, Kamen Rider Amazons Season 2: Rinne (Reincarnation), opens in Japan on May 12.
Both films open before the Kamen Rider Amazons The Movie: Saigo no Shinpan (Final Judgement) film (seen right), which concludes the storyline of the second season. The film opens on May 19.
Kamen Rider Amazons The Movie: Saigo no Shinpan will introduce Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha and will feature the final battle between Jin and Haruka, Kamen Rider Amazons Alpha and Omega, respectively.
The 13-episode first season debuted in April 2016 on Amazon Prime instant video in Japan, and streamed new episodes weekly. The series premiered on BS Asahi and Tokyo MX in July 2016. The second season debuted on Amazon Prime in April 2017.
Shinjirō (Fate/Zero, Taboo Tattoo) drew a 2-chapter manga tie-in titled "Kamen Rider Amazons Gaiden: Hotarubi" in Kodansha's Morning magazine in March. The manga is getting a limited series.
