Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade Game Adds Final Fantasy IV's Golbez

Square Enix announced on Tuesday that it is adding Golbez, one of the antagonists from Final Fantasy IV, to its Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade game. Players who satisfy specific conditions during the "Conflict of Gods" part 10 event starting November 9 will be able to access the character early on November 16, and the character will launch for other users at the end of November.
Famitsu began streaming a video showcasing his move set.
In addition, Square Enix announced that it will add Final Fantasy XI's Stellar Fulcrum as a new stage in its November update. The company began streaming a preview video.
The arcade game features a 3 vs. 3 battle system. The game also includes a summons gauge that players can use to summon Ifrit and other popular Final Fantasy summons when the gauge is full. Koei Tecmo Games' Team Ninja (Dead or Alive series) developed the game, which uses technology from a PlayStation 4 core system instead of a dedicated arcade circuit board.
The game launched in Japanese arcades in November 2015.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, the PlayStation 4 version of the Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade game, will ship in Japan on January 11 and in North America on January 30, 2018.
