For the second season, Sumie Kinoshita is now a chief animation director, while Yūichi Oka is no longer listed as one. Yuka Itō joins Ishiguro as a color key artist.

The group fourfolium, composed of the four main voice actresses Yūki Takada, Ayumi Takeo, Megumi Toda, and Megumi Yamaguchi as their respective characters, will once again perform both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is titled "STEP by STEP UP↑↑↑↑," while the ending theme song is titled, "JUMPin' JUMP UP!!!!". The CD singles for both songs are slated to ship separately on July 26.

In the workplace manga, the main character Aoba Suzukaze graduates from high school and joins a game company. The person who made the game that Aoba loved as a grade-schooler just happens to be Aoba's senior at the company. The story follows girls who work and aspire at the Eaglejump company.

The first television anime premiered last July, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. The first season had 12 episodes. Those who purchase all six of the Blu-ray Disc or DVD volumes of the anime can submit proof-of-purchase stubs to receive a new OVA, which serves as "episode 13" of the series.

Tokunō launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine in 2013, and Houbunsha will publish the sixth volume on June 27.

The manga and anime also inspired a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita video game by 5pb. Games that shipped in Japan on January 26. The game featured the same cast from the first season of the anime.
