Sailor Moon Crystal Gets 2 Board Games This Year

Board game company Dyskami Publishing Company announced on Wednesday that it is developing a line of official board games based on the Sailor Moon Crystal anime. The first two games are titled Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge and Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff.
Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge is a dice battle game where players roll different types of polyhedral dice to capture their opponent's dice. The game goes in rounds, with the first player to win three rounds winning the game. The loser of any round powers up to gain an advantage in the next round. The game is slated for this summer.
Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff is a tile-passing and bluffing game where players pass tiles to gain Success Tokens while also avoiding the selected End Game condition. The player who fulfills the End Game condition loses, while the player with the greatest number of Success Tokens wins the game. The game is slated for this fall.
Dyskami will publish more Sailor Moon Crystal-themed board games in 2018.
The third Sailor Moon Crystal season, which featured a new staff and focused on the Death Busters arc (also called the Infinity arc), premiered on Tokyo MX in April 2016. Crunchyroll, Niconico, and Hulu streamed the season. The three services and others streamed the first two Sailor Moon Crystal seasons overseas as they debuted online in Japan. Viz Media licensed both seasons for release in North America. Viz Media released the first season of Sailor Moon Crystal on DVD and DVD/Blu-ray Disc combo pack last August. A sequel project is currently in the works.
