Kodansha began streaming a promotional video on Sunday for the third original anime DVD (OAD) for Hiyoko Kobayashi's Hantsu x Trash manga. The anime will ship with a limited-edition bundle of the manga's 11th volume on November 4.
The story follows aimless high school first year Yōhei Hamaji, who receives an invitation to join a club where "he can touch girls as much as he wants." He finds himself at the water polo club.
The third OAD adapts the "mission CKB" arc of the manga, which features the main characters trying to confirm the colors of the nipples of the female water polo club members.
The new OAD features the same staff as the previous two. Hisashi Saito (The Testament of Sister New Devil) directs the anime, and Naoyuki Asano (Saint Young Men) is designing the characters. The group i☆Ris performs the theme song "Hachamecha x Strike."
The limited editions of the manga's eighth and 10th volumes both bundled OADs when they shipped in October 2015 and on June 6, respectively.
The cast of the drama CD have reprised their roles for the OADs: Yūma Uchida as Yōhei Hamaji, Maaya Uchida as Chisato Hagiwara, Shizuka Itou as Manami Miyoshi, Yurika Kubo as Mai Shinozaki, Saki Yamakita as Maki Hayami, and Kenta Matsumoto as Nakajima.
Kobayashi launched the series in July 2012. Her earlier manga, Oku-sama wa Joshi Kōsei (My Wife is a High School Girl), inspired an anime in 2005.
