RIN-NE 2 Casts Rie Kugimiya as Anime Approaches Finale

The official website of the RIN-NE 2 television anime series announced on Tuesday that Rie Kugimiya will play Matsugo's classmate Anju in the anime. The character will debut in the show's 49th episode "Matsugo Futatabi?!" (Matsugo Again?!) on September 17. The website also notes that the final episode of the anime series draws near.
RIN-NE 2 is the second anime series based on Rumiko Takahashi's RIN-NE (Kyōkai no Rinne) manga. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the second season, and the anime is currently streaming on The Anime Network and Crunchyroll. The anime premiered in Japan on April 9.
The rock band CreepHyp is performing "Ainii," the current opening theme song, while Shiggy Jr. is performing the current ending theme song "Beautiful Life." Both theme songs debuted in the show's 38th episode.
The first television anime series premiered in April 2015 on the public broadcaster NHK's E-Tele channel. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for release in North America.
