Level-5 unveiled a new promotional video for its Fantasy Life 2: Futatsu no Tsuki to Kamisama no Mura (FANTASY LIFE 2 Twin Moons and the Sacred Village) game during its "Level-5 Vision 2016 -New Heroes-" presentation on Wednesday. The video previews the game's features, and reveals that the game will debut "soon" on iOS and Android devices. In addition, Level-5 announced during the presentation that the game will have a closed beta beginning on Friday.
Like the first game, Fantasy Life 2 will feature 12 Life paths. Players go up in rank as they progress through the game and achieve tasks from their corresponding Life Master. A new "Village" feature allows players to build their own village.
The game is a sequel to the original Fantasy Life Nintendo 3DS role-playing game, which Nintendo released in North America in October 2014.
Fantasy Life 2 was originally slated for release in summer 2015, but was delayed. The game will be free to play and in-game items will cost extra.
Level-5 confirmed via press release on Wednesday that "there is no plan to release [the game] outside of Japan as of yet."
