Nintendo's U.K. branch began streaming an overview trailer for the upcoming release of Level-5 Fantasy Life open-world role-playing game on Monday. The Nintendo 3DS game is slated for release in the U.S. on October 24 and in Europe on September 26.
The role-playing game allows players to customize their avatar and switch between 12 different job classes to complete crafting and story goals. Nintendo describes the story:
Embark on the adventure of your dream life as you craft, cast, fish, mine, battle and explore like never before. With the innovative Life system, your choices don't just upgrade characters—they help shape your journey. Explore a huge fantasy landscape beside surly dark paladins, slick pirate captains, regal princesses, and others who share your taste for the unknown.
Nintendo is also streaming the game's opening movie:
Artist Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy series, Gatchaman, Genesis Climber Mospeada) contributed illustrations and Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu scored the music.
Level-5 trademarked "Fantasy Life" in Europe and the United States last year. The game was released in Japan on December 27.
