Company's lack of growth in smartphone market cited for dissolution on December 31
The official website of game developer Kaga Create announced on Tuesday that the company has been dissolved as of December 31. The staff thanked the users of its products throughout the years and offered to provide more information to creditors seeking remuneration. The notification cited Kaga Create's failure to create significant growth potential in the recent game marketplace that centers on smartphones.
Kaga Create ported the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni game franchise to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It also developed the PS Vita game of Ritz Kobayashi's Saki - The Nationals manga arc and subsequent anime.
