Shin Megami Tensei IV Final Announced for 3DS in February

The teaser website for Shin Megami Tensei IV Final, the newest entry in the Shin Megami Tensei role-playing game series from Atlus, opened on Tuesday at midnight. The new Nintendo 3DS game will ship on February 10, 2016, and it will have the keyword "deity-killing."
Kazuyuki Yamai is producing the game with director Satoshi Ōyama. Masayuki Doi is designing the characters, and Ryōta Kozuka is the sound composer. Kazuma Kaneko is credited the original worldview concept and series demon designs. All of these main staffers have worked on previous entries in the franchise.
The October 22 issue of Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine (pictured above) will provide more details on the game, including the protagonist and the supporting characters, on Thursday. The feature has the tagline, "Is a person a tool?" The 10-page feature will include interviews with the developers. Shinjuku Jihen (Shinjuku Disaster), a Niconico Live special on Shin Megami Tensei IV Final, will stream on October 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Japan (6:00 a.m. EDT).
