Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Slated for Spring With VR Being Considered

Koei Tecmo Games announced at its Tokyo Game Show 2015 booth on Saturday that it will release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the latest game in Team Ninja's Dead or Alive Xtreme spinoff game series, during the Spring 2016 release window for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4.
Koei Tecmo Games also announced that it is considering making the game compatible with the PlayStation VR headset.
Koei Tecmo Games also announced the results of its "First Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 General Elections! Contest for a Ticket to Zack Island" contest. The character who wins first place in the contest will get a special costume on the game's first edition on the PS4, while the second place character will receive a similar special costume on the game's first edition on the PS Vita.

The game's PS Vita version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus, and the PS4 version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune.
Koei Tecmo Games had originally announced the game on August 2, but the announcement had said that the game would be "made exclusively for Japan and Asian market."
Tecmo released the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball game on the Xbox in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2003. In the game, players play as one of the women from the Dead or Alive fighting game series and partake in volleyball matches as well as other beach-related minigames and shopping. Tecmo released a sequel, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, on the Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2006.
