Japanese video game news magazine Famitsu is revealing on Thursday that Koei Tecmo Games will release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the latest game in Team Ninja's Dead or Alive Xtreme spinoff game series, on the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 4.
The PS Vita version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus, and the PS4 version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune.
Famitsu is currently hosting a thumbnailed preview of its issue on Thursday that will provide more details about the game as well as an interview with the game's producer Yōsuke Hayashi.
Koei Tecmo Games had originally announced the game on August 2, but the announcement had said that the game would be "made exclusively for Japan and Asian market."
Tecmo released the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball game on the Xbox in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2003. In the game, players play as one of the women from the Dead or Alive fighting game series and partake in volleyball matches as well as other beach-related minigames and shopping. Tecmo released a sequel, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, on the Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2006.
