Square Enix UK began streaming a trailer on Tuesday for the PC edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The video comments reveal that the game is slated for release on Windows PC via Steam on August 18.
Players who preorder the game will receive a Master Chocobo courier and Class Zero Moogle ward DLCs for Dota 2 as well as a Final Fantasy Type-0 HD loading screen.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is the high-definition port of Square Enix's original Final Fantasy Type-0 on the PlayStation Portable system. It already debuted on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March.
Square Enix describes Final Fantasy Type-0 HD:
Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. Using the powerful abilities and magic of all fourteen characters in fast-paced action RPG combat, players must face the brutality and injustices of war to uncover the secrets of its genesis.
Square Enix has gradually brought many entries in the Final Fantasy franchise to PCs. It brought the enhanced 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years to Steam on May 12. Last week, it announced that it will bring the Final Fantasy Agito smartphone game to Windows 10 later this year.
