Tokyo Xanadu Game's TV Ad Reveals September 30 Release Date

The official website of Nihon Falcom's upcoming Tokyo Xanadu PS Vita game began streaming a 15-second commercial for the game on Thursday. The commercial shows some segments of the game's animated cut-scenes, and reveals the game's September 30 release date.
Narrator: 10 years after that great earthquake, another calamity is afoot in Tokyo. A PlayStation Vita exclusive: Tokyo Xanadu. On sale September 30.
The "urban legend action RPG" takes place in Tokyo after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake cause fires, tsunamis, toxic gas leaks, and other calamities to hit the city, leaving 20,200 dead and 7,000 missing. The story will follow high schoolers Kō and Asuka in a post-earthquake Tokyo, as well as the spirit world labyrinth "Xanadu."
The standard edition of the game will retail for 6,998 yen (about US$57) with tax, and the first-pressing limited edition box will retail for 8,208 yen (US$67) with tax. The limited edition will include an original mini soundtrack, two rubber straps, and a full-color illustration book.
