posted on by Karen Ressler
The PlayStation YouTube Channel began streaming a Street Fighter V trailer on Thursday, introducing Ken to the game.
CAPCOM announced at Comic Con International on Thursday it has added Ken to Street Fighter V. The character will be redesigned to be "more aggressive" and distinct from Ryu, as the two characters have always been similar.
Street Fighter V is the latest entry in the Street Fighter fighting game franchise. The game contains new features, such as V-Reversal moves, and a special V-Trigger mode. The game is slated for release on the PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) in the spring 2016 release window. Those who pre-order the game for PlayStation 4 will gain access to a public beta for the game on July 23. CAPCOM will launch a separate beta this fall for those who pre-ordered the game for PC.
The game has so far revealed stages set in London, China, and Brazil. The game's E3 trailer, which CAPCOM streamed in June, revealed the addition of Cammy and Birdie to the roster of playable characters. Other playable characters include Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, and M. Bison.
