New Angel Beats! Episode Previewed in Video

Aniplex began streaming a third short promotional video on Thursday for the Angel Beats! anime's all-new special episode, "Hell's Kitchen." The episode will feature in the television anime's Blu-ray Box release that is slated to ship in Japan on June 24.
The original anime's co-creator Jun Maeda is writing the episode's scenario. The anime is described as the second special episode, with the first being the "Stairway to Heaven" short episode. The Angel Beats! Blu-ray Box set will retail for 26,800 yen (about US$223).
The 2010 Angel Beats! anime revolves around protagonist Yuzuru Otonashi, who wakes to find himself in a strange high school setting. Otonashi has no memories prior to waking, but learns that the location is a strange afterlife and all of its inhabitants are deceased. He joins a group which rebels against the afterlife and its primary enforcer, Angel. A young woman named Yuri Nakamura leads the group, called "Shinda Sekai Sensen" (Afterlife War Front).
Sentai Filmworks released the anime on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in North America.
