Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Adds Vergil, Lady, Trish as Playable Characters

CAPCOM video game director Hideaki Itsuno announced new details for this summer's Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition PlayStation 4 an Xbox One game release on Monday. The game will add three new playable characters: Vergil, Lady, and Trish.
Vergil was added as a playable character in DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition as part of the Vergil's Bloody Palace tournament mode. Devil May Cry 4 is also adding the “Concentration” game mechanic that makes Vergil's attacks grow stronger the more calmly and accurately he fights and the “Grim Trick” ability that allows him to teleport.
Lady will utilize firearms when she fights for long-range attacks. Trish will use the Sparda sword instead of weapon switching.
The game will also add a “Legendary Dark Knight Mode” where players face hordes of enemies at a time and add many new costumes. CAPCOM is streaming an announcement trailer for the new game:
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is slated for release this summer. Ninja Theory and CAPCOM released DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17.
