Bandai Namco Games began streaming a promotional video that announces that a PlayStation Vita video game titled Captain Earth: Mind Labyrinth inspired by the Captain Earth anime has been green-lit.
Narrator: Captain Earth finally is adapted into a game! It will be released this winter with an original story! Captain Earth: Mind Labyrinth. A gorgeous special edition will also be sold. It contains Captain Earth: Mind Labyrinth for the PS Vita, four drama CDs (Daichi, Teppei, Hana, Akari) that you can only hear here, and an art and setting book that lets you explore the world of Captain Earth. All of it will come in a 3-sided box. The illustration is planned to be an original one! Huh? It's in production now? I look forward to seeing what kind of illustration it will be! And wow! A special edited version of footage from the “Midsummer's Carnival” event will included in first copies (as a product code to download from the PlayStation store). For more information, check out the official website!
The game will ship in Japan for the PlayStation Vita on February 26, with normal copies of the game costing 6,640 yen (about US$66). A special edition of the game with a 3-sided box with original art, four all-new drama CDs themed after Daichi, Teppei, Hana, and Akari, and an art and setting book will ship on the same day. First copies of the game will come with a product code to download special edited footage from the Midsummer's Carnival fan event.
The series premiered on April 5 on Crunchyroll where it is currently streaming as it airs in Japan. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for North America.
