Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl
When his parents go overseas, Makoto Niwa is forced to move in with his aunt Meme Tōwa, which was fine until he finds that his aunt has a daughter, Erio Tōwa. Makoto continues to be surprised as Erio is more than a little eccentric, she isn't enrolled in school, wears a futon and claims to be an extraterrestrial lifeform sent to observe humanity.
Adapted from Hitoma Iruma's light novels of the same name, this 13 episode series was produced at studio SHAFT under the direction of Akiyuki Shinbo (Bakemonogatari, Madoka Magica). The series has been released in North America by NIS America in a Blu-ray DVD combo pack.
