Tsutomu Mutsuki's Is This Girl For Real?! posted on Tuesday
Media service Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it is releasing Tsutomu Mutsuki's Is This Girl For Real?! (Kono Onee-san wa Fiction Desu!?) manga series as it is published in Japan. The latest chapter of the monthly series is launching on the website worldwide (outside Japan) on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Crunchyroll describes Is This Girl For Real?!:
Jun Yoshikawa is a boy with a manga artist for a mom. One night, he gets in a situation with a drunk stranger, Narumi Kawase, and decides to look after her. She becomes a live-in assistant at the Yoshikawa household as Jun takes care of her. This is an age-gap comedy about a pre-thirties, unfortunate beauty with no skills nor a job, and a perfect high schooler who helps out his mom and does the household chores as they live together.
Mutsuki (Ikinari Neko Kick, Momoiro Peanuts) launched Is This Girl For Real?! in Futabasha's Comic Sumomo magazine in 2010, but it moved to the publisher's Comic High! magazine in 2012. Futabasha will publish the fifth volume on February 10. Crunchyroll will add the earlier chapters of the manga "at a later date."
